Best Friends/ Cousins/ Sisters.

Sarra Jane Birdges. <3

We've been best friend sense day one. Your cousins will always be your first best friends. They're the first people your introduced to in life and the only ones that will truly understand how crazy your family is. Well that's how me and Sarra started out, as cousins. But even then we were super close cousins. We played so well together and spent a lot of time together at our Nana's house. But when some complications in my immediate family occurred I had to move in with with my Aunt and Uncle.

For the first few months we had to share a room and that put our relationship to the test. She is so OCD and such a neat freak, while I am the complete opposite. We both didn't really care for sharing our space though. We have NEVER had a real fight in the entire 17 years we've been together, but those few months I had to stay in her room with her was the closest we've ever come. But when i got my own room in the house we returned to being best friends again with no tension. I spent everyday with her so it was really hard to go back to live with my real parents and not see her all the time anymore.

Although soon enough I was back to live with her once again. This time indefinitely.

We may have never had a fight per say, but don't get me wrong we get frustrated with each other for sure. We have such different personalities and if we weren't family we would have never said two words to each other in a million years. That's such a weird thing to think about for me, that if we hadn't been born into the same family... we wouldn't even know each other because lets face it we're like night and day me and Sarra are. She strives for perfection while I pride myself on being average. But that's been the best part of living with her and getting to call her my little sister. We've been so good for each other. She's rubbed off on me and had such a big impact on me, and I don't mean to sound conceded or anything but I've rubbed off on her too. We've helped to bring out the best in each other.She went from being my little cousin to my little sister, but through it all she's always just been my best friend. I know I can tell her anything and she wont judge, ever. She's the best little sister in the whole wide world.

Me, Sarra, Lindsay, and Chantel all use to throw elaborate tea parties.... we were pretty much the coolest people ever. <3 Sister bonding.
